Turbocharger repair steps:

INSPECTION
Every turbocharger unit is thoroughly inspected for defects or deformations.

DISASSEMBLY
The casings are dismantled and visually inspected. The physical damage to the impeller may sometimes be visible to the naked eye. Such damage allows you to determine the general condition of the turbocharger.

FLAW DETECTION AND CLEANING
Cleaning in an ultrasonic bath and sandblasting. After cleaning both volutes are carefully inspected for hull micro cracks. The flaw detection of the rotor and compressor wheel, as well as the nozzle apparatus for possibility of further operation is carried out. Faulty parts are replaced with new ones.

BALANCING
The turbine is balanced and the cartridge is assembled. The final turbocharger balancing card including data of velocities, clearances and inspection result is printed out.
Both original and non-original spare parts of high quality may be used in repairs as per agreement with the customer. The warranty for repairs and spare parts installed during repairs of the turbocharger is 12 months or 8000 hours.
