The overhaul of two 4.5 MW MWM series 2032 engines was completed last week at the customer's site. During the repair the crankshaft thrust bearings, cylinder heads and piston rings were replaced as well as all other work in strict accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Specialized tools were used for repairs — MWM: Ring and sleeve extractors, hydraulic cylinder removal system etc. Original working tools are now an advantage since very few service providers have such equipment at their workshops due to high cost. All works were carried out in the machine rooms of the power park.
